Eligibility
The ‘Australian Asian Award Myanmar – 2024’ program offers fully funded scholarships for students from Myanmar. We strongly encourage applications from women, individuals with disabilities, members of ethnic minority groups, and those who haven’t received a long-term international scholarship before.

Application Dates and Deadline
Applications for Australia Awards Scholarships are open from 1 February to the end of April. Information about applying, including all supporting documentation required for applications, is available on this website during the application period. The deadline of the application is 30 April, 2024. Learn more

- research available university courses
- prepare required supporting documentation
- submit your application on OASIS.

Priority fields of study
- Education (e.g. education policy, quality assurance and statistics, student learning assessment, education economics,
technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and curriculum studies) - Public Health (e.g. epidemiology, public health, health security, health economics, disease control and biosecurity)
- Human Rights and Democratic Governance (e.g. rule of law, political science and transnational crime, countering
trafficking, peace and security) - Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (e.g. gender, disability, intersectionality, development, international human rights
law, peace/conflict, humanitarian leadership, anthropology and research) - Environment and Natural Resources (e.g. natural resource management, water resources, climate change, disaster risk
management, environment, conservation, food security and livelihoods support) - Private Sector Development (e.g. economics, financial analysis, international business, infrastructure, trade policy, public policy, tax, energy engineering).
